RETAIL STRATEGY
We developed a strategy for a retail group who were looking to
secure an exclusive agreement for one of the world’s fastest
growing denim fashion label in their geo region. We facilitated

TRAINING
- A successful fashion retailer had recently developed a new
brand concept which it launched into a highly competitive new
market segment. They were looking for way to integrate
these stores into the support functions of head office and free
up the store staff to focus on the customer. A 6one5® Retail
change program was tailored to develop Store Managers with a “merchant
mentality” who lead and motivate their staff with a focus
on substantially increasing key KPI’s; namely average conversion,
average transaction value and average items per transaction
- An international department store group key issue was sourcing
capable store management to support their aggressive growth plans.
They were looking for a way to model their top store managers and
then train internally selected talent to these standards so that
when they opened a new store the management were “retail
ready” to optimize store growth in the first 12 months.
MERCHANDISE & CATEGORY MANAGEMENT CONSULTING
- A major office supplies group needed a complete category management
review to prepare for a SAP implementation. Our consultants provided
the expertise to restructure their categories as well as overseeing
the SAP implementation.
- A leading US Department Store had implemented significant new
technologies but were failing to achieve business benefits. Developed
and integrated merchandise buying process to simplify the work
stream, leverage new data and insights and maximise synergy between
buyers and planners. This resulted in a more structured and
proactive approach which minimised scrambling and provided a better
ability to capitalise on strong performing categories. Technology
investment benefits were realised and EBIT grew significantly.
RETAIL TECHNOLOGY
- A household fashion retailer was struggling to measure KPI’s
and store performance accurately and in a timely manner. We integrated
a complete financial reporting and business intelligence solution
that enabled them to poll key store performance measures on a
daily basis as well as measuring the performance of promotional
activity at multiple intervals during the day.
- The critical business issue of a major Australian Grocery retailer
was to implement a complex solution within a challenging business
environment to improve financial performance. They needed support
for two strategic projects to help them lead key activities approaching
implementation and during the post go-live transition period. This
meant working with a diverse group of stakeholders to align resources
to common objectives and ensure critical milestones were achieved.
This support helped enable the business to successfully transition
to a consolidated pricing and promotions management platform with
robust store integration and advanced promotional offer capabilities.
LEASING
We partnered with a private equity owned retail group to provide
an outsourced store location selection and procurement resource.
The result was that in the first 12 months they were able to exceed
their targeted store locations by 20% while staying within their
rental range and exceeding capital contribution budget.
